You Are Your Child's Most Important Teacher
No one knows your child better than you.
That's why parent coaching isn't an extra service at Growing Through Play—it's an essential part of every session.
Our goal isn't just to help your child during therapy.
Our goal is to help you understand your child, feel confident in your everyday interactions, and recognize the hundreds of opportunities you already have to support their development through play.
Together, we'll help you:
❤️ Better understand what your child's behaviors are communicating.
🌱 Learn simple, practical strategies you can use during everyday routines.
🤝 Feel more confident responding to moments of frustration, dysregulation, and uncertainty.
✨ Turn play, meals, bath time, bedtime, and other daily routines into meaningful opportunities for connection and growth.
You won't be expected to remember everything on your own.
Throughout each session, you'll receive real-time coaching, encouragement, and personalized guidance designed specifically for your child and your family.
Because the greatest progress doesn't happen during one hour of therapy each week.
It happens during the hundreds of small, loving moments you share with your child every single day.

Floortime sessions take place right where children learn and grow best—within their natural home and community environments. By working in familiar spaces, therapy becomes more meaningful, practical, and easier to integrate into everyday routines. For toddlers and young children, learning through daily activities like mealtime, play, and transitions helps build skills in a way that feels natural and supportive.
Home-based therapy also empowers parents and caregivers with strategies they can confidently use throughout the day, creating more opportunities for connection, communication, and emotional development. This consistent, relationship-focused approach helps children generalize skills more effectively and supports lasting progress across all areas of development.
