Services at Growing Through Play
Investing in Your Child's Development
At Growing Through Play, we believe meaningful progress happens when therapy is personalized, relationships come first, and parents are active partners in their child's journey.
That's why we've chosen a private-pay model.
Instead of being limited by insurance rules or diagnosis-based treatment plans, we can focus on what matters most—understanding your child, building meaningful connections, and helping your family create lasting change.
What this means for your family
❤️ Therapy tailored to your child—not insurance requirements.
Every session is individualized around your child's unique strengths, interests, sensory needs, and developmental profile.
🤝 You are part of the process.
You'll receive guidance, coaching, and practical strategies so you can confidently support your child's development during everyday routines—not just during therapy sessions.
🌱 A relationship-based approach.
Using DIR/Floortime and pediatric occupational therapy, we focus on helping your child build connection, regulation, communication, confidence, and joyful engagement through play.
⏰ The flexibility to provide the care your child truly needs.
Our recommendations are based on your child's developmental needs, not on insurance limitations or preset visit requirements.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
Growing Through Play is a private-pay pediatric occupational therapy practice and does not bill insurance directly.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide a detailed superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by insurance plan, so we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your benefits.
Our goal is simple: to give your family the time, guidance, and individualized support needed to help your child grow through meaningful relationships and play.

Understanding Your Child Starts Here
Before we begin therapy, we'll spend time getting to know your child—and your family.
Every child is unique. That's why we begin with a comprehensive developmental evaluation designed to help us understand how your child experiences the world, what brings them joy, where they may be facing challenges, and how we can best support their growth.
This isn't about checking boxes or focusing on what your child can't do. It's about discovering who they are so we can build a therapy plan that is meaningful, individualized, and centered around your family's goals.
During the Evaluation, We'll Explore
❤️ Your child's unique strengths, interests, and motivations
What captures their attention? What makes them smile? What helps them feel connected and ready to learn?🌱 Developmental skills
We'll look at how your child is growing across important areas of development, including play, problem-solving, motor skills, and emotional development.🧠 Sensory processing and regulation
We'll explore how your child experiences the world through their senses and what helps them feel calm, organized, and ready to engage.💬 Communication, engagement, and relationships
We'll observe how your child connects with others, communicates their needs, and participates in shared interactions through play.🏡 Your family's priorities and goals
You know your child best. We'll take time to understand your concerns, celebrate your child's strengths, and learn what meaningful progress looks like for your family.A Plan Designed Just for Your Child
Everything we learn during the evaluation helps us create a personalized plan using pediatric occupational therapy and the DIR/Floortime® approach.
Together, we'll identify practical goals and develop strategies that fit naturally into your everyday routines—so you feel confident supporting your child's development both during therapy sessions and at home.
Because when we truly understand your child, we can build on their strengths, nurture meaningful relationships, and help them continue to grow through play.

Floortime Intensive Program
Build Confidence. Strengthen Connection. Learn Together.
When you're first learning how to support your child's development, waiting week after week to build new skills can feel overwhelming.
Our Floortime Intensive Program is designed to help you and your child build momentum together.
Through more frequent therapy sessions and caregiver coaching over a short period of time, you'll have the opportunity to learn, practice, ask questions, and receive ongoing guidance as you begin using DIR/Floortime strategies in your everyday life.
Rather than wondering if you're "doing it right," you'll have the support and coaching to help you feel confident every step of the way.
This Program May Be Right for Your Family If...
❤️ You've recently received a diagnosis or have growing concerns and aren't sure where to begin.
🌱 You want to better understand your child's unique way of communicating, playing, and learning.
🤝 You're looking for practical strategies you can use during everyday routines—not just during therapy sessions.
✨ You want to feel more confident supporting your child's development at home.
🏡 You value learning alongside your child and want to become an active part of their developmental journey.
What Makes an Intensive Different?
Instead of seeing your therapist once a week and trying to remember everything until the next visit, you'll receive more consistent support while you're learning.
Together, we'll:
Understand your child's strengths, interests, and developmental profile.
Practice relationship-based strategies during real play experiences.
Learn how to support communication, regulation, engagement, and problem-solving through everyday interactions.
Adjust strategies as your child grows and your confidence increases.
Celebrate the small moments that lead to meaningful progress.
As you become more comfortable using Floortime strategies, we'll gradually reduce the frequency of sessions and transition to a schedule that best supports your child and your family's goals.
The Goal Isn't More Therapy.
The goal is helping you feel confident.
When parents understand why their child behaves the way they do and know how to respond through connection and play, learning continues long after each therapy session ends.
Our hope is that by the end of the intensive program, you'll not only have a deeper understanding of your child—you'll also feel empowered with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create meaningful opportunities for growth during the everyday moments you already share.
Because the most important person in your child's development isn't the therapist.
It's you.
We're here to help you understand your child, one playful moment at a time.
